Still rules out new faces

Dagenham & Redbridge boss John Still has said there is no hope of signing new players despite the striker crisis at Victoria Road.

With top scorer Paul Benson out for two months while he recovers from a cartilage operation a loan deal for a forward would be ideal, yet money looks set to scupper Still's plans.

"Financially, I won't be able to do anything," Still admitted in the Ilford Recorder.

The news puts serious pressure on Ben Strevens, who has so far scored 11 league goals - three less than Benson.
