Still: Benson going nowhere

Manager John Still is adamant that striker Paul Benson will still be a Dagenham & Redbridge player next season.

The 29-year-old has recently been the target of interest from Gillingham, but Still is in no mood to part with a player who has scored once every two starts during his four years with the Daggers.

Still told the Ilford Recorder: "Let me make it clear, Paul has come to me, not the other way around and said he has no desire at all to leave the club.

"I have read a lot of rubbish in other papers and on the internet that he wants to join Gillingham, but that is not the case."
