Southam seeks Daggers exit

Dagenham & Redbridge have transfer-listed Glen Southam due to interest in the midfielder from a club in a higher division.

The 28-year-old has been a key performer for the Daggers since his arrival from Bishop's Stortford four years ago, helping the club gain promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history.

Manager John Still told the club's official website: "Glen feels there is an opportunity for him to progress his career and join a club at a higher level.

"It's my policy and the policy of this club, that we don't stand in the way of a player who wants to progress his career.

"Therefore we have reluctantly placed Glen on the transfer list."
