Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Glen Southam has left the League Two club by mutual consent.
The 28-year-old had been with the Daggers for five seasons, but feels the time is right for a fresh challenge elsewhere.
He told the club's official website: "I've had an amazing five years with Dagenham & Redbridge, which have given me the happiest memories of my football career to date and I will be sad to be leaving.
"But I feel at this stage in my career I need a fresh challenge. I'd like to thank John Still and the club for the opportunity to develop my skills over the past five years, but also for this opportunity to seek pastures new.
"I would also like to thank my team-mates and for the fantastic support given to me over the years by all the Daggers supporters."
