Roberts pride at milestone

Dagenham & Redbridge goalkeeper Tony Roberts has revealed his pride after making his 400th appearance for the club.

The 39-year-old keeper reached the milestone during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Accrington Stanley in which he saved a penalty.

"I came here nine years ago and I remember my first game was Leigh RMI away, and now I've got my 400th and am very proud of what I've done," said the former Wales international.

"I've seen the club grow from training twice a week to full time and we've had all the cup runs and the play-offs.

"So I've seen the club go from strength to strength and luckily I've been a part of it."
