Port Vale kept alive their hopes of a play-off place with a win which dented Dagenham's promotion ambitions.The visitors took the lead as Paul Benson crossed from the right for Marlon Pack to head in from six yards. Vale drew level on 42 minutes when Lewis Haldane clipped in a close range shot after Lee Collins' cross.
