Craig Westcarr scored the only goal as Notts County beat Dagenham & Redbridge to net their first win of the season.The visitors started well and nearly went ahead when Josh Scott's low drive was well kept out by Stuart Nelson. Scott went close again soon after when he saw his effort cannon back off the inside of the post.
