New Daggers deal for Roberts

Veteran Dagenham & Redbridge goalkeeper Tony Roberts has agreed a new one-year contract with the League Two club.

The 38-year-old shot-stopper was named the Daggers' player of the year after helping John Still's side avoid an immediate return to the Blue Square Premier.

Dagenham had the option of a second year on Roberts' contract, which he signed last summer.

Roberts has made over 350 appearances for the club since arriving on a free transfer from St Albans eight years ago.
