Green set for Daggers exit

Dagenham & Redbridge's Dominic Green is set to leave the club, with Huddersfield Town closing in on the teenage winger.

The 19-year-old missed the weekend clash with Port vale, with the Daggers having accepted an offer from the League One club.

A club statement read: "After several enquiries and two verbal offers which were rejected, the club has received a firm written offer for Dominic.

"The size of the offer is one that the club feels is a realistic compensation, and in keeping with our policy, manager John Still informed Dominic of the interest."

Still himself added: "A number of clubs have spoken to me about him, but only one has, in my opinion, been realistic.

"If Dominic decides to leave, then I wish him every success."
