Dagenham & Redbridge could be able to make the loan acquisitions of Doug Loft and Aiden Palmer permanent. Loft, on loan from Brighton, joined the Daggers on transfer deadline day for an initial month. Speaking to the Ilford Recorder, Loft said: "My contract is up in the summer and I'm not sure what is happening at the moment, so if everything goes well for Dagenham, then who knows." Palmer also spoke of his desire to stay Victoria Road. He added: "I've been at Leyton Orient since I was nine. I'm 22 now so I think a change is best for me. The boys at Dagenham are different class."
