Dagenham & Redbridge were busy on transfer deadline day, signing two new players and letting one leave.
Boss John Still snapped up Southend United midfielder Peggy Lokando on loan and sealed the permanent transfer of Fisher Athletic striker Wesley Thomas on a three-year contract.
Meanwhile, defender Michael Alailie has joined Fisher on a month's loan.
Still told the Daggers' official website: "Wesley Thomas is a boy I've known since he played for Waltham Forest youth. I tried to sign him a year ago from Thurrock but lost out to Fisher Athletic who paid £15,000 for him.
"Ever since then I've monitored his progress and the chance has arisen for me to snap him up and that's what I've done on a three-year contract.
"He can play wide but is best down the middle. He's quick, direct and has a good scoring record.
"The signing of Wesley is just to keep numbers up and he falls into that category of young, hungry players that I can work with.
"Michael has gone to Fisher just to get some experience. He's missed spells since joining us two years ago with injuries and the month at Fisher will do him good."
