Daggers add Loft to ranks

Brighton & Hove Albion's Doug Loft has joined Dagenham & Redbridge on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old midfielder has made nine appearances for the Seagulls this season, but has been allowed to join the League Two side.

"I'm absolutely delighted to have signed Doug, he's someone that I have wanted to get for a while," manager John Still told the club's official website.

"I watched him a few times last season and I spoke to (Brighton boss) Micky Adams at various times about him.

"Micky and I have kept in touch and although Doug's not always been included in their starting line-up, he's been on the bench."
