Dagenham & Redbridge boss John Still praised his defenders after they kept another clean sheet in the victory against Barnet.

Goals from Matt Ritchie and Ben Strevens helped the Daggers secure a 2-0 win against their local rivals as they maintained their promotion push.

A delighted Still said: "In the second half I thought we were absolutely outstanding. The movement of the players was outstanding and, on another day, we might have got a goal or two more.

"Local derbies are always hard games to win, especially after we've had such a tough week at Rochdale and Peterborough.

"The back four was excellent once more and I'm very pleased with how everything's going."
