Benson pleased to end mini drought

Benson scored his first goals in five league games against Bury last weekend, which ended a goalless streak that stretched back to October 17. And the 30-year-old is now hoping to add to the 12 goals he already has to his name this season and help the Daggers push for promotion. "It was important that we got back to winning again and also important for me that I got back to scoring," he told the Barking & Dagenham Post. "It was nice that both came hand in hand and generally, if we can score goals, we'll win games."
