Vincelot strike in vain
Dagenham were undone by a late winner as a youthful Arsenal side claimed a 2-1 victory in the club`s latest pre-season friendly at Victoria Road.
Exciting youngster Jay Simpson put Arsenal ahead in the 19th minute but the Daggers equalised shortly after the break when Romain Vincelot headed home Danny Green`s corner.
Yet the Premier League outfit triumphed six minutes from time courtesy of substitute Roarie Deacon`s 20-yard strike.
