Us boss: Elito still in my plans
Winger Medy Elito could soon be challenging for a place in the Colchester team after his loan spell with Dagenham.
Elito is currently on loan with John Still's side but is due back next month after some impressive displays for the Daggers.
Colchester boss John Ward said: "If he's playing regularly, why can't he come back and challenge?
"If our team is firing on all cylinders then we may look at a further loan or whatever, but if not I've got a lad that can come back in who has been playing at our level, which is brilliant."
