Wanderers achieved promotion from League Two on goal difference last term and Taylor is actively seeking players to help strengthen his current squad ahead of their forthcoming campaign. The 56-year-old boss has admitted to making inquiries for Dagenham & Redbridge striker Ben Strevens, as well as his out-of-contract team-mate Sam Saunders, but says it is not in his interests to panic buy. "There are going to be a lot of players out there so there's no mad panic. If I go for someone now I could miss out on someone else who is available and I think most managers are doing the same," he told the Bucks Free Press. "I'm getting lots of calls from people at the moment and I will take my time to get it right. "I've spoken to Strevens' agent and he's on my list, along with Sam Saunders, but there's quite a few people on my list."
