Still: Daggers good value for victory

Mark Arber smashed a 39th-minute penalty into the top corner after Steve Fletcher was adjudged to have upended Peter Gain in the box.

"I didn't see the penalty, but I'm pretty sure from my own players and they are saying he pulled Peter Gain back," said Still.

Victory lifted Dagenham to within three points of the play-off places and arrested a run of four consecutive defeats.

And Still added: "We deserved to win the game and I'm delighted with the performance. We defended well, our two centre-halves were outstanding, as were both full-backs.

"Our work rate was tremendous as was the pace of our game, it was just how I like it to be."
