Ibehre is a Dagger to the heart

MK Dons striker Jabo Ibehre scored twice as Karl Robinson's men came from behind to knock Dagenham & Redbridge out of the Carling Cup at the first hurdle with a 2-1 win. Damien McCrory's sublime free-kick had given the Daggers a half-time lead but Ibehre produced two cool one-on-one finishes to send the Dons into the second round. Dagenham frustrated the hosts with a resilient first-half display and McCrory put them ahead against the run of play in the 13th minute, curling a brilliant 25-yard free-kick over the wall and past Dons keeper David Martin for his first career goal. The Dons piled forward after the break and Jermaine Easter had a goal disallowed for offside before Ibehre equalised in the 56th minute. Ibehre raced through onto Easter's pass and slotted the ball underneath onrushing keeper Tony Roberts to open his account for the season. And the Dons forward then settled the tie 11 minutes from time when he latched onto defender Scott Doe's poor back-pass and clinically beat Roberts at his near post.
