Happy Harris hails Dagenham win
A goal from John Rooney - brother of England striker Wayne - had given Macclesfield the lead, before top scorer Paul Benson came off the bench to level for the home side.
Matt Ritchie then volleyed home a late winner, leaving assistant manager Harris a happy man.
"It was a very controlled finish (from Benson) and a win is win for us at the moment," he said.
"It was a crazy goal to concede and when that happens it kicks you. They didn't really come out at us but we showed good character in the second half to come through."
