Green ready to step up for Daggers

Green, 21, joined the high-flying club from Blue Square South outfit Bishop's Stortford during the summer, after impressing boss John Still during a week's training with the Victoria Road side.[LNB]Still entrusted Green with the responsibility of replacing Saunders, who scored 14 goals last season, and the midfielder admits he was nervous stepping into his shoes.[LNB]"It's fair to say I was nervous about replacing Sam," he told the Epping Forest Guardian.[LNB]"He is a good player. I saw him play against Brentford last season and he scored a really good goal.[LNB]"I was a bit apprehensive at first but now I've got into my stride I feel a lot more settled."[LNB][LNB]
