But Harris believes his side are more than capable of picking up a maximum three-point haul to end their disappointing run of four games without a win.

"Bury are on a good run and have some good players," he said. "They are pushing for promotion but so are we. We are up there on merit and it augurs well for a good game this weekend.

"We'd like to go on a run over the Christmas period but first things first, we'll get Bury out of the way.

"If at the start of the season you told me that at the start of December we would be in the top four level on points with Notts County we would have accepted that but you don't get anything in December.

"We have to stay in the pack, get the Christmas period out of the way and see where we are."
