Daggers return to winning ways

Crewe had gone closest in the opening stages, none more so than when Shaun Miller danced his way round Abu Ogogo on the byline, but Steven Schumacher put his effort wide from a matter of yards.[LNB]The visitors continued to look more threatening, but it was the Daggers who opened the scoring as a lovely move started by goalkeeper Tony Roberts saw Green cross for Scott to glance a header into the top corner after 35 minutes - his seventh goal of the season.[LNB]That strike sparked the hosts into life and they extended their advantage six minutes later when Danny Spiller teed up Green and he fired into the bottom corner from 20 yards for his first goal for three months.[LNB]After the break, Mat Mitchel-King almost pulled a goal back but his header produced a magnificent save from Roberts, who clawed the ball away.[LNB]Striker Clayton Donaldson had the ball in the net midway through the half only for his strike to be ruled out for offside, while Roberts was at his best to deny Schumacher late on.[LNB][LNB]
