Daggers demanding EDF explanation

The match on Wednesday against Brentford was scheduled to be screened live on Sky Sports and the club missed out on "a decent sum of money" due to lost television revenue. The Daggers' home clash with Exeter in December was abandoned at half-time due to a power cut. A club statement read: "We will be pressing for a fuller explanation of the cause of the fault, but can advise that after our own initial investigations the problem does not appear to have been caused either internally, nor by the presence of the BSkyB team and their equipment. "This was confirmed by our own club electrician, who incidentally is on standby at the ground at all our first-team home matches, and the engineers who attended on Monday night from EDF. "The club will provide more information as soon as it can and also hope to give details of the re-arranged date for this postponed fixture once it has been agreed with both Brentford FC and the Football League."
