Daggers close in on Button deal
Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still is close to signing Tottenham goalkeeper David Button as cover for the injured Tony Roberts, who could miss the rest of the season.[LNB]Roberts is feared to have cracked a rib in the defeat at Gillingham on Monday and if that is confirmed the Welshman will be ruled out of for the rest of the season.[LNB]Still was left with only inexperienced goalkeeper David Hogan to call on and has wasted little time in drafting in Button, an England Under-20 international, on an emergency loan subject to paperwork.[LNB]Button, 20, has spent loan spells at Grays and Bournemouth already this season.[LNB][LNB]
