Jon-Paul Pittman's goal after 49 minutes earned Wycombe their first away victory in 2009 and moved them level on points with leaders Brentford but Still is confident they will maintain the pressure on their rivals despite the setback.

"I think that's football, all I keep saying to the players is that we have played very well," he said. "Sometimes games don't go for you, there's no reason for it, but that's the way it goes.

"We'll carry on doing what we're doing, we'll win games and we just have to keep going.

"When I first came to this club all I had to do was stay in the Conference. We have massively achieved against bigger clubs and we'll keep doing that, the group of players are fantastic and they will keep going."
