Dagenham manager John Still was delighted with his players despite a 1-0 home defeat to Oldham which left his side in the bottom three. On-loan Leeds defender Aidy white scored the only goal of the game on his debut for the Latics, converting at the far post in the 57th minute. Still said: "I think we've played against a good side and I think we've played very well. I'm absolutely delighted with our performance. In the last few games we've been scoring goals, so we've shown we can score, but they were very resolute. "On another day I think a goal or two might have gone in for us, but performance-wise I'm absolutely delighted. "They're a strong side and as good a side, strength-wise, as we've played. We knew it would be a difficult game, but what we have to look at, more than anything else, is to make sure of the consistencies in our performance. "I actually feel we're getting to that stage now. Of course we need to do better, but I've got to be honest and I was pleased with how we played. I've got no complaints whatsoever."
