Mixed news for Daggers

Michael Spillane returns from suspension as Dagenham prepare to lose the services of fellow midfielder Kevin Maher for the visit of Rotherham.

Spillane missed the Daggers' impressive 3-2 triumph at Oxford in midweek having received his fifth yellow card of the season in last weekend's 4-0 FA Cup defeat at Bournemouth.

Fit-again Maher stepped in for his first start of the season and was duly given his marching orders midway through the second half for a second bookable offence, meaning he now serves a one-match ban.

Otherwise, manager John Still boasts an unchanged squad.

Striker Josh Scott and midfielder Billy Bingham both featured for the club's reserves on Wednesday after recent injuries and are more or less ready for first team involvement, with the latter a real possibility to step off the bench against the Millers.

Rotherham have selection concerns for the trip.

The Millers saw an already lengthy injury list get even bigger in Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Fleetwood after Kari Arnason and Jamie Devitt (hamstring) picked up problems.

Arnason is rated as extremely doubtful to make the Victoria Road clash after he suffered a bruised shoulder, while on-loan Devitt has returned to parent club Hull to receive treatment and will definitely miss out.

Michael O'Connor will battle it out with Jason Taylor for a midfield berth should Arnason be ruled out, with Gareth Evans expected to fill in for Devitt on the right wing.

Daniel Nardiello will be pushing for a return to the side after fully overcoming a groin injury and he is likely to displace fellow ex-Barnsley man Kayode Odejayi in the starting line-up while Kieran Agard is expected to shake over a thigh niggle to be involved.

Scott Shearer (knee), Lionel Ainsworth (shoulder), Dale Tonge (ankle) and David Noble (hamstring) are ensuring physio Dennis Circuit is being kept busy.
