Hoyte back in Daggers picture

Gavin Hoyte makes a timely return as Dagenham play host to League Two leaders Rochdale.

The right-back completed his three-match suspension after Tuesday's 1-0 win at Southend, which leaves the Daggers just six points off top spot despite currently lying in the bottom half of the table.

His return comes after centre-back Luke Wilkinson sustained a shoulder injury at Roots Hall in midweek - meaning Scott Doe is set to switch from right-back to the heart of defence against Dale and allow Hoyte to slot back into his familiar position.

Manager Wayne Burnett is not expected to have any other injury or suspension concerns.

Rochdale midfielder Matty Lund could miss out due to injury.

Lund was forced out of the midweek win over Northampton with a knock and remains doubtful, but is manager Keith Hill's only injury concern as Dale chase their eighth league win in nine matches.

Andrew Tutte replaced Lund on Tuesday night and will be in contention to start, but Bastien Hery, Brian Barry-Murphy and Jamie Allen all provide Hill with alternative options.

Striker Geroge Donnelly is pushing for a recall, but skipper Peter Cavanagh remains sidelined with a long-term Achilles injury.
