Dagenham fall to foot of table after Bristol Rovers loss
Dagenham slumped to the foot of the Football League after going down 3-0 at home to Bristol Rovers, who move into the League Two play-off places after recording their seventh away win of the season.
Rovers went close to an opener with a quick counter in the 29th minute but Lee Brown's effort was off target.
Brown went one better in the 33rd minute with a thunderbolt from a well-worked free-kick that flew past Mark Cousins in the home goal.
Rovers added a second in the 84th minute when Rory Gaffney rounded off a swift counter-attack with a curled effort from just inside the box.
That led to calls for home manager Wayne Burnett to leave his post, and the pressure is likely to increase if Daggers' struggles continue.
