Boss hails Daggers` discipline

Dagenham manager John Still praised his disciplined side after they climbed out of the drop zone with a 1-0 win over Colchester. Striker Bas Savage struck the only goal to make it six points from six for the Daggers as they leapfrogged Walsall into 19th place. Still said: "It was a strong performance after Saturday`s win at Bristol Rovers. Our home performances are picking up now with the Brentford game, the Huddersfield game and even in the Bournemouth game we competed well. "I think the form we are in at the moment is decent and I'm delighted with the discipline we showed. I was pleased for Bas. He's worked hard. He was on the bench on Saturday but started, he came in and did his bit for the team. "In the second half we had to sit Peter Gain a little bit deeper as they changed their formation and he stopped the ball getting into their forwards` feet. He did a tremendous job with that. "His experience at this moment is vital as three of our back four are babies. The experience Peter and Mark Arber have is vital for us."
