Benson set for Daggers rest

Dagenham boss John Still could rest striker Paul Benson for the Carling Cup trip to face MK Dons. Benson has been carrying an ankle injury throughout pre-season but played the full 90 minutes of Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday. And the striker - who continues to be linked with a move to Charlton - may be left out in favour of Josh Scott to allow him time to recover fully. Still has no other injury or suspension concerns after defenders Scott Doe and Abu Ogogo came through the defeat at Hillsborough unscathed. Doe picked up a calf injury in pre-season while full-back Ogogo suffered a hip injury in the same match but both are now fine. The Daggers have never won a League Cup tie and have lost on both of their previous trips to face the Dons.
