Banned Ilesanmi missing for Daggers

Dagenham will be without Oluwafemi Ilesanmi for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday. The left-back was dismissed in the last minute of the midweek draw at Leyton Orient for bringing down substitute Paul-Jose Mpoku for a penalty. The club lodged an appeal with the FA which failed, so he now begins a two-match ban. However, first-choice full-back Damien McCrory is back in training after two games out with a twisted ankle so he should come back in. Winger Damian Scannell is out after he pulled his hamstring in the dying stages of the 2-1 win over Charlton last weekend, while Oliver Lee - son of former England midfielder Robert - could be included after he signed on-loan from West Ham. Striker John Akinde is back in training after a long-term groin problem but is not yet ready to make his Daggers debut.
