Czech Republic qualify for Euro 2012

The Czech Republic qualified for Euro 2012 here on Tuesday after beating Montenegro 1-0 on the night and 3-0 on aggregate in their play-off.

The Czechs - semi-finalists in 2004 - sealed their place with an 81st minute goal by Petr Jiracek.

The visitors had all but ensured they reached next year's finals being co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine with a 2-0 win in last Friday's first leg.
