Cech: Scolari will succeed

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech believes incoming coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has the credentials and profile required to be a success in the Stamford Bridge hot-seat.
Scolari will meet his new players for the first time on Monday morning and the Czech Republic keeper expects the appointment of the Brazilian coach to be a successful one.
The 2002 World Cup winning coach with Brazil left his post as Portugal boss after Euro 2008 to succeed Avram Grant at the helm of the Blues.
"It can be that Chelsea is the hardest managerial job in the world, you see that winning alone is not enough and you also need to play with style," said Cech.
"But Scolari was the manager of Brazil. When you go to the World Cup with them, if you do not win the final, it's a disgrace. He couldn't have had bigger pressure than that, so this is another advantage.
"You can see that he is a character. Even on the bench you feel that he comes forward to speak only when he has to, you don't see really huge emotions. He has the charisma, which is important for the really big clubs.
"It was very difficult for Avram, taking over from Jose, who had a lot of success, and getting the team in the middle of the season.
"Nobody really knew about him so this was another thing. It's always better when you've got a manager who you know will be the manager for many years or that the club has got a vision to keep him for many years.
"(Last season) There were a lot of people who had never worked together so that made it even more difficult.
"But now he (Scolari) brings his own team and he knows exactly what to expect from everybody. I think this is the best way to start."
