Warnock wants Magpies scalp

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has insisted his side will go to Championship leaders Newcastle United at St James' Park on Wednesday evening to win.

The Magpies are the only side in the league with an unbeaten home record and they sit 15 points ahead of the Eagles.

Despite this huge lead, Palace are just three points off a play-off berth and Warnock is in bullish mood ahead of their big test.

He said: "We will put out a team that fights every inch of the way, and that means you have always got a chance of doing well.

"St James' Park is fantastic arena and a tough place to go, but we'll be going there to do all we can to get three points."
