Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is hopeful of being able to make striker Craig Beattie's loan stay into a permanent one in the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old Scotland international has scored four goals in 12 appearances since his arrival from West Bromwich Albion and has impressed Warnock massively.
He told the Croydon Advertiser: "Craig has been superb since coming here and he is a great lad, obviously we would love to bring him here permanently.
"I don't really want to bring in too many players in January, but if I can bring in Craig I'll be happy.
"A lot depends on who goes out, we have to get players out before we can bring players in."
