Warnock seeks Idrizaj exit

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has hit out at Liverpool after being unable to contact the Premier League club about ending the loan stay of Besian Idrizaj. The 20-year-old has not featured for the Eagles for more than two months, but Warnock still has the Austria Under-21 international among his squad. He told the Croydon Guardian: "The deal is until the end of the season, but it is pointless him being here because he isn't going to play for us. "I have asked them to take him back so he can go elsewhere. I am sure three or four clubs will have him, so it seems silly that he stays here. "Nobody is returning our calls, it is ludicrous. We might send a pigeon up next." Meanwhile, teenagers Lee Hills and Sean Scannell have both put pen to paper on their first professional contracts with the Eagles, signing deals running until the summer of 2010.
