Warnock fears sale of Moses

After a match-winning brace on Tuesday, Crystal Palace striker Victor Moses could be set for a January move to the Premier League - at least according to manager Neil Warnock.

The 18-year-old, born in Nigeria but an England Under-19 international, has already been identified by the country's top scouts but no club have yet met the Eagles' asking price.

However, with Palace in financial trouble - players have not yet been paid for November - he should be easier to prise away next month and Tuesday's performance helped show why the forward could make an impact in the top division.

"You could tell that Victor was on his game and he has been since I bought him back into the team. He is hungry and he will get all the plaudits," Warnock said after the match.

"Everybody is looking at him now. Four or five teams were after him in the summer but they hesitated and I don't know why."
