Boss Neil Warnock is keen to try and bring loan star Scott Sinclair back to Crystal Palace next season, with the
Chelsea forward having impressed with the Eagles.
The 19-year-old has shown up well in recent weeks, having moved to Selhurst Park after an unsuccessful loan stint with neighbours Charlton Athletic.
Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser: "I keep in touch with (sporting director) Frank Arnesen about Scott.
"The thing is with Chelsea is that they like to play a lot of their younger players in the Carling Cup and then loan them out.
"But I think we've got a good chance if they do loan him out again, because they know he will play games here and he is enjoying it.
"I don't think us getting promoted will determine whether we can get him here next season, because I think he needs another season in the Championship as he probably won't play in the Premier League for Chelsea."
