Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock blasted referee Eddie Ilderton after his side crashed to a 1-0 defeat at Leicester City on a dreadful Walkers Stadium pitch.
Warnock thought his striker James Scowcroft was fouled throughout the match and should have been awarded a penalty when the game was still goalless.
He said: "It was a scrappy game and took a goal which (Barry) Hayles didn't know anything about to win it.
"They didn't deserve to win. It was two good defences against each other and the pitch was the worst I've seen this year.
"We tried to pass it as best as we could but it got to the point where we just couldn't.
"The officials were the worst team tonight. They were indecisive throughout and there was practically manslaughter on James Scowcroft.
"Even every throw-in was given the wrong way. But one run has come to an end and it's important we kick on now and go again."
