Warnock: No truth in Town rumour

It was reported over the weekend that Warnock and Burnley boss Owen Coyle are on the shortlist to replace the under-fire Jim Magilton at Portman Road. But the former Sheffield United, Plymouth and Huddersfield boss was quick to quash the rumours, insisting he knows nothing of the story. "It's news to me - I've no idea where it has come from," he told the Croydon Advertiser. Warnock joined Palace in October 2007 and guided the Eagles to the play-off semi-finals but has struggled to replicate that success this season, with them currently sitting in 13th place in the Championship.
