Warnock: Kuqi can move on

Manager Neil Warnock has told striker Shefki Kuqi that he has no future at Crystal Palace.

The 31-year-old Finland international has struggled to make his mark with the Eagles since joining in the summer of 2006 from Blackburn Rovers and was recently in hot water for aiming an angry gesture at fans during the 2-0 defeat by Wolves.

Warnock told the South London Press: "There's no way back for Shefki, he's burnt a few bridges. I've had a chat with him and it's better if he moves on.

"I've had probably nine clubs enquire about him, but he's not going to go anywhere below the Championship."

Kuqi has scored eight goals in 46 appearances for Palace and spent the first half of the current campaign on loan at Premier League Fulham.
