Manager Neil Warnock was delighted with Crystal Palace's performance in their 3-1 victory at Plymouth Argyle.
The Eagles went into the game on the back of four straight league defeats, but were three goals to the good by half-time at Home Park and eased to victory, despite Warnock feeling his side are in need of strengthening.
He said: "That's the best I've seen us play for a long while, possibly the best since I've been here.
"Our first-half performance was super and we got three quality goals. We need one or two players and we have found it very difficult.
"We haven't got a goalscorer, so we're looking all the time, but it is difficult because all the other teams have got a lot more money and it's no good signing somebody that's not any better than what we've got."
