Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor has denied he is under pressure from chairman Simon Jordan after a poor run of results for the Selhurst Park club.
The Eagles are currently languishing in the bottom half of the table after failing to win any of their last six games, but Taylor claims he still has the full backing of the Palace supremo.
He told the South London Press: "I was quite down on Tuesday night (after losing at Sheffield Wednesday), but I've got to say Simon Jordan was absolutely magnificent.
"He was the one who picked me up more than anything and I really respect him for that.
"I spoke to him on the phone for over an hour. He was acting like a very good chairman and was very supportive.
"He was first-class. I can only talk about the chairman since I've known him and he has been excellent."
