Crystal Palace manager Peter Taylor is hoping to bring
Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner back to the club after he recovers from a groin injury.
The 22-year-old had impressed in five outings for the Eagles, but was forced off early on in the weekend defeat at home to Colchester United and faces several weeks out of action.
Taylor commented: "I am waiting to speak to David Moyes about it, but we will have a look at it and decide what to do.
"I would like to keep Iain here for longer, but he won't be fit until after the transfer window has opened, so we are trying to work out the best way to do it.
"His loan spell was due to finish on December 16, but if we finish it now and start it again in January, there may be a chance we can extend it until the end of the season."
