Speroni quiet on Eagles exit

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni has refused to rule out a possible switch to Queens Park Rangers which would see him team up with former Eagles manager Neil Warnock.

Media stories suggest the Argentinian, who joined Palace from Dundee in 2004, is ready to leave Selhurst Park after a turbulent Championship campaign.

He has suggested that he will make a decision based on his best interests, telling the Ealing Gazette: "A footballer's career is short and sometimes you have to do what's best for your family and yourself.

"A lot of things are going on at the moment though, so we will see what happens."

Speroni has made more than 170 appearances for Palace and recently won his third consecutive Player of the Year award.
