Speroni inks new Eagles deal
13 Apr 2008 - 15:11:43
Argentinian goalkeeper Julian Speronihas penned a new three-year deal with play-off chasing Crystal Palace.
The 28-year-old former Dundee shot-stopper has made 64 appearances for the Championship side and boss Neil Warnock is pleased he has persuaded the player to extend his Selhurst Park stay.
"It's good news to be able to report that Julian Speroni has agreed a new three-year deal with us," Warnock told the Eagles' official website.
"I'm delighted to have shaken hands on the deal and finally put that subject to bed. He's done well for me.
"I wouldn't swap him for anyone in our division and he couldn't have done anything more than what he's done. He's been a great support to the defensive unit who've done well for us this season."
