Crystal Palace have handed a trial to sacked former Walsall winger Ishmel Demontagnac.
Demontagnac, 20, was shown the door by the Saddlers earlier in the month following a series of breaches of club discipline.
However, Palace assistant manager Mick Jones has warned the troubled midfielder that he will be walking a disciplinary tightrope as he looks to win a contract at the Championship club.
"If anything happens during the trial that we don't like it will be finished immediately," he told the South London Press.
London-born Demontagnac started his career in the capital with Charlton Athletic.
