Palace land Prem keeper

Crystal Palace have landed goalkeeper Iain Turner on a month's loan from Everton. Eagles boss Peter Taylor has been unhappy with the performances of Gabor Kiraly and Scott Flinders this season and has landed the Scotland Under-21 international in time to face Barnsley at Selhurst Park on Saturday. "Everton rate him extremely highly and they want him to come out and get a bit more experience," Taylor told the club's official website. "He's been out on loan last season and I know quite a bit about him and he's a good goalkeeper. "At the minute, I have to say that maybe all of the goalkeepers haven't performed to the ability that they expect of themselves so I've got to act on that. "My job is to try and win the next match and if it means I can improve on a certain position, or leave someone out so that they can get their confidence back, then that's the type of thing that I have to do."
